Andrew Biffa cracked a rib and punctured a lung taking a catch at Chartridge on Sunday.
Looking like a muscle strain, the doctors told him to go to bed and take drugs. However by Thusday the pain was so excruciating he was taken by ambulance to Wycombe General Hospital where the true extent of the injury was diagnosed. Tranferred to Harefield hospital he has had an operation to drain blood from the damaged lung.
He will be in hospital for at least a few days but is expected to make a full recovery over time. AT LEAST HE HELD THE CATCH !
You can post wishes to him in comments
