A much overdue award was bestowed upon Jordans Taverners chairman, Tim Sonnex, at the Annual Greatest Sportsmen of All Time ceremony this weekend in Cannes.

Sonnex had to sit through the whole event, picking up the Greatest Chairman of All Time in Any Sport at Any Level award at the climax of the evening. After receiving his prize from Beyonce, in an emotional speech he thanked all those who had voted for him and paid tribute to his family, his friends, his team mates and his therapist.

He was last seen leaving the arena arm in arm with the beautiful songstress.
